Good evening all, as always I hope you are having a Wonderful Day. I had one of those days when I wasn’t sure what I was going to do so I decided to settle on one thing (which was rather boring I might add – tidying up my envelope / packaging box). It did however motivate me and its now just after 5.30pm and I have had both a relaxing day but one that brought me to the past with lots of very good memories.
I have a large pink storage box in the craft room, I lifted it from the corner well over a month ago and apart from lifting several things from the top of it, I didn’t go through it until today. Not only did I find the newspaper articles from when I opened Krafty Kards (scary hair moment, lol) but all the samples I made from those early days (approx 2005 – 2008, some from 2009 / 2010), all of which had a lovely, fun memory attached to it. I also found samples and make & takes from our visit to the NEC trade shows – one of which reminded me of a Tim Holtz workshop when I lifted the spray bottle to spritz with water and spritzed with gold spray instead – what a mess and a giggle that was!
Anyhow sometimes it is just lovely to remember the fun times, the laughs and of the course the many crafting mistakes or as I say “happy accidents” that happened along the way. It’s been quite a day I think! I picked out some of the projects that I made in those early days and although they may have the odd dented corner I thought I would add them to the blog and perhaps facebook.
I hope you all have a lovely, relaxing Sunday evening. I am now relaxing in front of the computer listening to Amanda Marshall – another great CD. I will be back soon. Take care x
