Hi all, it’s been a long time … I honestly do not know where the time goes. I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying being out and about a bit more. I don’t think I have stopped bargain hunting and sourcing since the 30th April. I have been having lots of fun though and my eBay store gets new stock every day which is awesome.
Car Boot Sale 🙂
Today was the monthly Car Boot Sale at Granville – I look forward to it and always hope for good weather. Thankfully today the sun was shining so we headed off at 8.30am. It was already quite busy at this stage but I still managed to pick up lots of goodies.
I have now added to my ever growing collection of mugs and also found some other treasures. I have just managed to get everything unpacked and have all the mugs washed so unfortunately have no photographs yet. My favourite finds of today have to be 2 x Denby Mugs and a Laura Ashley Mug. I rarely find either of these at a good price so am very happy.
Breakfast with Mum …
Mum and I then treating ourselves to a late breakfast / early lunch. It was really nice and it’s always great to have someone cook for you and wash up.
I was home again around 12 and have spent the afternoon relaxing, catching up on a few eBay bits and pieces and generally enjoying my weekend. Poppy, as always keeps me entertained and rarely lets me sit for more than 15 minutes at a time. It is great to see though that at 13 years young she has so much energy and is still very puppy like at times. Truly, there is never a dull moment!!
A Quick Update …
I wrote in January that I had quite a few ideas / plans for this year concerning my business and although I have not been blogging very much I have been learning new skills and trying out various options for branching out, some have been more successful than others but all have been fun and I have learnt a lot along the way.
I still have lots of ideas (to be honest my head never stops) but at the minute I am focusing on one thing at a time and will keep you posted if anything new and exciting happens.
eBay is still my main focus and the thing I love the most … after all these years I still get very excited when I hear the ka-ching sound – I don’t think that feeling will every fade … in fact I don’t ever want it to. 🙂
Instagram …
I have never been a big fan of social media – I have however managed to open an instagram account which I am really enjoying updating. Thank you to all who have followed me so far, I really appreciate it. I love keeping up to date and in contact with other eBay resellers and eBay Fans, it’s always great to see what treasures others find on their travels. I was planning on this being a rather short blog post so I will finish now. It is time to feed my adorable Poppy and I plan to catch up on some Casualty (I am about 8 episodes behind which is not like me at all.) I am also hoping to go for a wee walk this evening.
